First: KSU’s Admission Requirements :

Master’s Programs

  1. A score of at least 70 in the General Aptitude Test, except for students on external scholarships and (executive / medical education) programs.

PhD Programs

  1. A score of at least 45 in the TOEFL-iBT test, 4 in the IELTS Academic test, or 60 in STEP.
  2. A score of at least 70 in the General Aptitude Test, except for students on external scholarships.


Second:  Admission Requirements as per the Unified Law of Graduate Studies .

Council of Joint Master’s Program in Nanoscience and Applied Nanotechnology

MSc in Nanoscience and Applied Nanotechnology:

  • Nanobiotechnology and Nanomedicine
  • Nanomaterials and Nanodevices
  • Nanobiotechnology and Nanomedicine
  • Nanomaterials and Nanodevices
  1. The applicant must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in relevant science, engineering, health and computer science and information majors from KSU or any university accredited by Ministry of Education with a minimum of a “Good” (2.75/5) GPA or equivalent, provided that applicant’s GPA of the specialty courses at the bachelor’s stage is at least “Very Good” (3.75/5) or equivalent.
  2. A score of at least 45 in the TOEFL-IBT test or equivalent.
