First: KSU’s Admission Requirements :

Master’s Programs

  1. A score of at least 70 in the General Aptitude Test, except for students on external scholarships and (executive / medical education) programs.

PhD Programs

  1. A score of at least 45 in the TOEFL-iBT test, 4 in the IELTS Academic test, or 60 in STEP.
  2. A score of at least 70 in the General Aptitude Test, except for students on external scholarships.


Second:  Admission Requirements as per the Unified Law of Graduate Studies .

  1. The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in one of the life sciences specializations: biology, environment, animal sciences, plants, microbiology, plants and microorganisms, rangelands, forests, plant production, animal production, plant protection, soil sciences, geography, chemistry, Biochemistry, Natural Resources, Food Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Marine Sciences, Meteorology, Environmental Protection, Drugs from KSU or any university accredited by Ministry of Education with a minimum of a “Good” (2.75/5) GPA or equivalent, provided that applicant’s GPA of the specialty courses at the bachelor’s stage is at least “Very Good” (3.75/5) GPA or equivalent.
