The Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision aims at bridging the gap between labor market requirements and the higher education outcomes. It anticipates guidance of students towards appropriate career choices with opportunity for occupational rehabilitation and flexibility of relocating among different educational tracks. The ambitious 2030 Vision aspires that at least five Saudi universities to become among the top 200 universities in the world by the year 2030. This goal has made it indispensable for King Saud University (KSU) to strengthen its regional leadership, maintain its current high ranking among world-class universities and develop future plans and strategies to ensure a sustainable progressive ranking.
The Deanship of Graduate Studies comes at the forefront as being responsible for upgrading the postgraduate education and research level at KSU. It has been working in line with the KSU’s strategic plan to advance the postgraduate programs, promote novel research work and increase the number and quality of postgraduate students.
It gives me a great pleasure to join a distinguished group of staff with great competence and experience at the Deanship of Graduate Studies in providing all aspects of support and services to the different stakeholders - graduate students, academic departments, colleges and relevant external bodies - with the highest possible quality standards.
