Development Unit:
This unit oversees the Deanship strategic plan and other activities, including following up the implementation of its strategic plan, developing periodic reports, identifying training needs of the Deanship staff and recommending cooperation graduate programs between KSU and similar universities locally and internationally.
Functions of the Unit:
1. To provide staff with the necessary training programs to be more competent and skillful so as to be able to manage the Deanship strategic plan
2. To provide allied services and supervision of the management of the projects of the Deanship strategic plan
3. To follow up and report on the status quo of the Deanship strategic plan projects and submit a periodic report to senior management
4. To follow up strategic plan indicators and accomplishment of relevant projects and report on the assessment of projects’ values and results
5. To report on the current and future projects and sort out priorities
6. To input the strategic plan’s data and results using the balanced score card (BSC) tool
7. To identify the training courses needs for the Deanship staff, students and faculty members
8. To implement the training courses necessary to raise performance of the Deanship staff, students and faculty members
9. To evaluate the training courses necessary to raise performance of the Deanship staff, students and faculty members
10. To recommend cooperation graduate programs between KSU and similar universities locally and internationally
11. To propose means of communication with local and international universities and community segments so as to sign graduate education and research partnerships
