French and Translation

Master of Arts in Translation Studies (French Language)

Translation Studies (French Language)

  1. Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in French and translation, Arabic, mass communication, law, or relevant disciplines from KSU or any university accredited by Ministry of Education with a minimum of a “Very Good” (3.75/5) or equivalent; for relevant disciplines, the applicant must refer to the concerned department before starting the application process on the electronic portal.
  2.  Passing a written examination held by the department.

English Language and Translation

Master of Arts in Translation (English Language)

Translation (English Language)

  1. Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in English translation, English, or relevant disciplines degree from KSU or any university accredited by Ministry of Education with a minimum of a “Very Good” (3.75/5) or equivalent; for relevant disciplines, the applicant must refer to the concerned department before starting the application process on the electronic portal.
  2. A score of at least 6.5 in Academic IELTS, or equivalent in the TOEFL test.
  3.  Passing a written examination held by the department.

Linguistics and Translation Studies

Master of Arts in (Theoretical Linguistics)

Theoretical Linguistics

  1. Applicant must hold a full-time bachelor’s degree in English, Arabic, computer science, psychology, or relevant disciplines from KSU or any university accredited by Ministry of Education with a minimum of a “Very Good” (3.75/5) or equivalent; for relevant disciplines, the applicant must refer to the concerned department before starting the application process on the electronic portal.
  2.  A score of at least 79 in TOEFL-IBT, or equivalent  in Academic IELTS.
  3. Passing a written examination held by the department.
