- Applicant holding a bachelor’s degree in social service or sociology (the Social Psychology track) may be accepted.
- Applicant holding a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or statistics (the Measurement and Evaluation track) may be accepted.
- Applicant must hold a master’s degree in psychology from King Saud University or any university accredited by Ministry of Education with a minimum of a “Very Good” (3.75/5) GPA or equivalent.
- A score of at least 500 in the TOEFL-PBT test or equivalent; the department may accept a score between 466-499 or equivalent, provided that the student must study a complementary course in academic English.
- Applicant must have a 1-year experience in psychology; demonstrators and lecturers are exempted from this requirement
